The Glenn Miller Orchestra is still the most sought after big band in the world. In 1941, this band had more hit records in one year, including “A String of Pearls”, than any act in the history of the recording industry. And that same year, although other songs had sold over a million record copies, Glenn Miller’s “Chattanooga Choo Choo” received the first Gold Record ever to be awarded. Roy Clark is one of the world’s finest multi-instrumentalists, and one of the first cross-over artists to land singles on both the pop and country charts. With hits such as “The Tips of My Fingers”, “Yesterday, When I Was Young”, and “Thank God And Greyhound You’re Gone”, Roy has had 23 Top 40 country hits. His television appearances on shows such as “The Tonight Show” and “American Bandstand” widened his appeal. But it was as host of “Hee Haw” that Roy came into our homes for 24 years. In 2007, he celebrated 60 years in show business and 50 years of marriage. Roy has received tons of awards during his career and was recently inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

The Reid cousins, who seem more like brothers, have sung together as Grandstaff for over 15 years. Wil and Langdon are very energetic, enthusiastic, and extremely talented. Along with their outstanding harmony, which is an inherent trademark from their fathers, Harold and Don Reid, members of the Statler Brothers, Wil and Langdon are prolific songwriters who have had over 30 songs published and recorded. For 2010 the duo is excited to announce a new CD coming out as well as their new name Wilson Fairchild for a new chapter in their musical career. Although the name Grandstaff has served the cousins well through the years, they have decided to use a name that says who they are.
